My name is
Barb Nelson. I have been teaching music at St. Francis since 1993, and
have seen many changes take place over the years. I grew up on my
family's farm in western Wisconsin, and have lived in Wisconsin my
whole life. I have been a musician or music teacher since eighth
grade, so it's safe to say that music is my "calling". I hold a
bachelor's degree in Music Education from UW-River Falls. This
summer I took several classes, including comprehensive musicianship,
journal writing, emotional intelligence, and professional rejuvenation
which were all very informative and useful. In my time away from
St. Francis, I work in retail, and volunteer at my church.
