Service Opportunities
  Vacation Bible School - August 2-6, 2010 from 9am-Noon.  We are looking for 7 grade youth and older to help Crew Leaders with groups or other areas where help is needed.  Call or email Ms. Riese if interested.

  
 Welcoming the Little Ones Please contact Ms. Riese if you are interested.  This ministry will end May 23, 2010 and start again in the fall of 2010.  WLO is a Sunday Bible lesson and nursery for children under 5 years of age during the 10am mass. 

    St. Francis Community Soup Kitchen -
Every Tuesday evening at SFX Cafeteria (5-6:30pm)
        Sign up sheets are in the back of church.  Youth under the age of 14 must be supervised
        with a parent.  Youth need to be 16 years of age to work in the kitchen.  
        FAMILY PARTICIPATION IS ENCOURAGED!

Parent Resources
 Adult Bible Study offered from 6-7pm & 7:30-8:30pm on Wed evenings during Religious Ed classes;  All are welcome to join at anytime!  All studies take place in conference room.  Call Mary Litschauer with questions at 539-3800.  Also, an Adult Bible Study is offered  from 8:30am-9:30am on Sunday mornings.  Join the study while your child(ren) go to catechism class!

CONSIDER THIS:  Traveling Crucifix Program -- Sign your family up to pray for vocations for the week.  This is a worthy ministry that is always looking for volunteers!  Call Kris in the parish office for details.

Cathechism classes are over but there are many events in the area that will take place this summer to keep the faith alive for your youth -- check out Summer Events in the left column of this page.  Just because class sessions are over doesn't mean that we should be taking a break from learning or strengthening our relationship with God and Jesus.  May God bestow many blessings upon you and your family this summer.
