KINDERGARTEN ROCKS!!  Hello!! My name is Mrs. Gretchen Weber and I am the Kindergarten teacher here at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic School.  I have been teaching for 14 years and this will be my third year at SFXS.  Prior to coming here, I taught Kindergarten in Tomahawk, Second Grade in MN and First Grade in the DC Everest School District. I am so happy to be back at my favorite grade level of all: KINDERGARTEN!!

I have been married for 12 years to my wonderful husband Dave.  I have two daughters-Olive (4) and Veda (1) and a son-Wilson (2).  I also have two beagle “babies” named Ruby and Frankie.  I moved back to Merrill about 5 years ago to be close to my family and to raise my children in the same city where I grew up.  Teaching at SFXS has very special meaning to me because I went through this school when I was young--so that makes me a SFXS alum!! 

I spend most of my free time with my family and friends.  We have a cottage in Minocqua where we enjoy getting away for the weekend and “playing” outside.  I also enjoy watching and cheering for the Packers—I am a die hard “Packer Backer”!! And, of course, working with children and inspiring them to succeed is a passion of mine.  That is why I thank God that I have the opportunity to do this everyday at SFXS!
