I was born in Merrill and was baptized in
the present church building then known as St. Robert Bellarmine. When my family moved from Pine River into Merrill we
transferred to the St. Francis Xavier parish. After graduating from
Merrill Senior High, I went on to school and now have degrees in
Electronics, Laser Technology, and Education. Being the Technology
Instructor at St. Francis gives me a great deal of satisfaction. It
feels like coming home, and in a way it is.
My wife, Norma Jean, is the MDS Coordinator at Pine Crest. Our children,
Erik & Rene, are students at Northwestern & UW-Madison. We still live in
Wausau where I taught Laser Technology at Northcentral Technical
College for 23 years.
I enjoy all aspects of technology and take pleasure in helping the
students learn more about the technological world in which we live. The
world is changing around us, and we all have to work hard to keep up.
My hobbies include woodworking, photography, laser engraving, reading,
vintage radios, checking out garage sales, and acting as President of
the Wausau Area Apple Users Group.
I welcome any comments or questions from students, parents, or members
of the parish. I am here to serve you.
