Mission Statement

The mission statement of St. Francis Xavier Catholic School is to provide the best religious and academic education possible by promoting the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth of our students and by building a strong, loving faith community.

Parent School Partnership

The St. Francis Xavier Catholic School's Parent School Partnership provides for the necessary link between parents and teachers.  All parents are automatically members and are encouraged to support their children's education through this wonderful organization.

Religion

Our religion program is dedicated to the teaching of Catholic doctrine as regards to both faith and morals.

Christian faith influences all aspects of school life through:

   Daily religious instruction

   Daily prayer

   Twice weekly liturgies with active student involvement

   Monthly school-wide service project

   Jesus, the unseen guest in every classroom


Curriculum

Christian values are a priority, woven into the academic curriculum. Our school curriculum follows diocesan and state guidelines.

   Foreign Language (Spanish)

   Catholic value-based human growth and development (Love & Life)

   DARE (Drug Awareness and Resistance Education)

   Soundproof Fine Arts room

   Fast Internet access to all classrooms

   Full-service kitchen with daily hot lunch program

   Playground area supervised by staff and volunteers

   Computer lab with Fast Internet access and Novell server

The success of SFXCS students is due to the combined efforts of parents and a highly dedicated staff and support personnel.
