The K-5 grades meet on Sunday mornings at 9-9:45 am or on Monday afternoons at 3:30-4:30 pm.

First Communion

Vatican II called the Eucharist “the source and summit of Christian life.” Jesus said, “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.” Those children who will be receiving the Eucharist for the first time need to know that Jesus Christ is truly present in the Eucharist.

  • Must be a registered member of St. Francis Xavier Parish
  • Will receive the sacrament of Penance prior to their first communion
  • If the child was not baptized at St. Francis Xavier parish, the child’s parents will provide a baptismal certificate from the parish where he or she was baptized
